Intended Use

S1 Dental Graft is used to fill bony voids or defects in the oral and maxillofacial region due to surgical or traumatic bone loss. It helps maintain space and acts as a scaffold for new bone formation.

1. Preparation: Open blister pack in sterile environment. Do not reuse opened vial.
2. Hydration: Place granules in sterile container. Add only recommended amount of saline or blood.
3. Mixing: Knead into a paste for 30 seconds. Avoid over-soaking.
4. Application: Clean surgical site thoroughly. Apply S1 paste to defect area and press firmly.
5. Closure: Cover graft with mucoperiosteal flap and secure with sutures to avoid exposure.

Storage & Expiration

• Store at room temperature (1°C to 30°C), away from sunlight.
• Do not reuse, re-sterilize, or use if package is damaged or expired.
• Valid for 5 years from date of manufacturing.

Precautions & Contraindications

Do Not Use In:

• Patients with osteomyelitis, severe liver or heart dysfunction.
• Pregnant, lactating women, or patients under 18.
• Allergic individuals to bovine bone materials.

General Warnings:

• Must be handled by trained clinicians only.
• Avoid overfilling and ensure complete surgical closure.
• Do not mix with other graft materials or divide for multiple uses.

Bone loading (e.g., implants) should be delayed for at least 6 months.
